Kingston Upon Hull 2’s is a lively squad made up of returning, new and transferred (internal) players. We have a great team dynamic and support each other on the pitch. KUH 2’s brings speed, agility, and intensity alongside individual skill set to every game.  16-17 season has brought captain Sarah, and Vice Captain Fiona, together as a tag team to take KUH 2’s to the next level. Our team goal is to head for promotion, whilst accomplishing individual goals of fitness and refining skills and techniques.  We are a dedicated team who train together, play every week, and share many laughs and giggles strengthening our huge team spirit.  KUH 2’s is not just a hockey team, we are friends who enjoy times together on and off the pitch and love nothing better than a good fancy dress theme.  Come on KUH 2’s, this is our season! – Sarah Beech 2016/17 captain

The KUH Ladies 3rd team is currently competing in Division 3 of the Yorkshire league. We had a tough season last year but managed to finish mid-table giving us a fighting start for this season. Being in Division 3 means we get to travel to exotic corners of Yorkshire, such as, Leeds, Doncaster and Harrogate which can make for some fun road trips. We are a fun but committed team who pride ourselves on player development and team cohesion.  The team really does encompass what it means to be part of a team and work together for the win as well as having fun doing something we all love – Sophie Hart 2016/17 captain

Hi we’re the ladies 4th team! We’re a friendly bunch from a wide range of ages and abilities but we all love playing hockey! We were promoted at the end of last season, an achievement that we are all immensely proud of. Our aim this season is to stay in our new league as well as enjoy and learn from the challenges that playing in a higher league brings – Kate Oldroyd

Annual membership fees for this season remain the same as last year, £85 for full members, £45 for students/ unemployed, and £35 for players aged 18 and under who play in the ladies leagues.

These fees are payable in full by the end of October please. The reason we need them by this date is that we have to pay affiliation fees to England Hockey by this date, and we don’t keep a lot of cash in the bank, so rely on prompt payment from our members.  Anyone who has not paid by the end of October may not be selected to play. As ever, in cases of financial hardship, members can approach a member of the committee, in confidence, to agree a payment plan. Our treasurer is Lou Williams (née Neal).

This season, we are asking full members to pay a minimum of £45, Students/Unemployed to pay £25 and juniors £15, before the first league match (23 September) and then the remaining balance by the end of October. To make it easy for people, payments can be made by installments between now and the due date.  If you want to pay by BACS, our bank details can be requested from your captain or contact Lou directly.

Alternatively, cheques made payable to Kingston upon Hull Ladies Hockey Club can given to a member of the committee.

Many thanks for your help to keep our finances healthy!

On behalf of Louise Williams (née Neal)
